VANUE® PROTECT cavity sealant 400 ml

The VANUE® PROTECT cavity sealing 400 ml spray is a corrosion protection agent, specifically designed for long-term preservation work in the automotive sector and many other areas where cavities need to be permanently protected. The VANUE cavity sealant is ideally suited as corrosion protection in cases of heavy condensation, such as in the frames of camping vehicles. By using VANUE cavity protection, internal rusting is effectively prevented.

Areas of Application

VANUE cavity protection spray can be applied wherever a permanent preservation coating is necessary.

• Sealing of cavities in vehicles and commercial vehicles, e.g., in doors, sills, frame parts, etc.
• We recommend a touch-up every 2 to 3 years.
• General corrosion protection in mechanical engineering for permanent preservation coatings, etc.

Processing Instructions

Substrate Pre-Treatment:

The substrate should be dry, free of dust and grease.

The optimal temperature of the parts to be treated is between 15 and 25 °C.

Application:

Bring the can to room temperature and shake vigorously (at least 2 minutes from the audible impact of the mixing ball). Spray in several layers onto the surfaces to be preserved or into the relevant cavities. Remove coverings if necessary. Remove existing rust and pre-treat the areas with the VANUE® PROTECT rust converter. Allow it to dry thoroughly. Closed cavities, such as frames and sills, should be thoroughly sprayed through the drainage holes or cutouts in the frames using a probe. Do not spray on rubber parts. The probe and splashes on painted surfaces can be cleaned with the VANUE® CLEAN special cleaner.
